QuantumCMS 4.1.1 Coming 9/20

If you attended our QuantumCMS User Group last month, then you already know that the next point release of QuantumCMS 4 is coming next week, on Monday, September 20.

This release will focus on some major changes to our ecommerce platform. Among the ecommerce changes:

• Support for additional payment processors;
• Support for additional tax services;
• Enhanced interface to match the 4.1 styles.

The 4.1.1 release will also include a hot fix that has come out since 4.1 was released.

QuantumCMS 4.1.1 will not be rolled out to all of our clients. Only our clients using the ecommerce features of QuantumCMS 4 will get this release. Updates to QuantumCMS4 that are unrelated the ecommerce portion, such as bug fixes, have already been released as a hot fix for the 4.1 release. Any new bug fixes that make it into the 4.1.1 release next week will also be released as hot fixes for our clients on 4.1.

Hot fix released to date:

• Correction of HTTP response header code on page aliases to use 301 instead of 200.
